The club also offers plenty for those who prefer a relaxed social atmosphere, with Men’s Social Bowls running most Tuesdays and a popular corporate bowls competition lighting up Thursday evenings throughout summer.

Corporate Bowls
Corporate Bowls kicks off with a relaxed, social evening designed for workplace teams and community groups looking to unwind on the greens.
Guests are encouraged to arrive by 5:30pm to settle in, grab their bowls, and enjoy the atmosphere before play begins at 6:00pm.

Ladies Gala Day is a highlight on the BWK bowls calendar, bringing together players for a vibrant and social day on the greens.
BWK - Open Classic 4’s - Day 1
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided
Day 1 of the BWK Men’s Fours Open Classic launches one of the club’s premier open events, bringing together 112 players from far and wide for two full days of high‑quality competitive fours. The greens come alive early, with players arriving from 9:00am to settle in, meet their team and prepare for a prompt 9:30am start.
Across the morning, lunch break and afternoon session, teams work through well‑paced rounds that showcase skill, strategy and strong camaraderie. With visitors and club players mixing on the rinks, Day 1 sets a lively and welcoming tone for a standout two‑day classic.
BWK - Open Classic 4’s - Day 2

Day 2 of the BWK Men’s Fours Open Classic continues the momentum of this major two‑day event, with 112 players returning to the greens for another full day of competitive fours. Teams arrive from 9:00am to regroup, reset and prepare for a sharp 9:30am start.
With morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea served across the day, players settle into a smooth rhythm of play as the final rounds unfold.
Day 2 brings heightened focus, tighter competition and plenty of camaraderie as teams push for strong finishes and the overall Classic results. The atmosphere remains lively and welcoming, rounding out a standout showcase of skill, sportsmanship and club spirit.
BWK - Mixed Open 4’s

The BWK Mixed Open 4’s brings together 112 players from clubs across the South West and Murray Leagues for a vibrant one‑day showcase of competitive fours. Players arrive from 9:00am to settle in, meet their team and prepare for a sharp 9:30am start.
With a strong mix of visiting and local talent, the event delivers a full day of well‑paced rounds, lively competition and great club spirit. The mixed format adds an extra layer of strategy and camaraderie, creating an engaging atmosphere on the greens as teams work through each stage of play.
ANZAC Day Challenge - BWK v Harvey
The ANZAC Day Challenge brings BWK and HVY together for a respectful and spirited afternoon on the greens, honouring the significance of the day through friendly competition and strong club camaraderie. Players arrive from 1:00pm to settle in before the match begins promptly at 1:30pm.
Hosted at Brunswick, the event blends tradition, community and quality bowls, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for players and supporters alike. Following play, everyone is invited to stay for a shared meal, rounding out the occasion with connection and hospitality befitting ANZAC Day.
Ladies Opening Day
Celebrate the start of a new bowls season with Opening Day, a proud club tradition that brings members together in full club colours for a morning of camaraderie, competition and community spirit.
